SET IDIOMAS

SET IDIOMAS is a language teaching and translation center founded in 1999 in the city of Córdoba, Argentina. Since 2002, the school has had a special area dedicated to the teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language (SFL) named “Learning Spanish”. More than 2,000 students of the most varied nationalities have studied with us.

The school is located in the commercial and historical downtown area. The building is English-style, and includes a reception area, the administration, eight classrooms, a teachers’ room, a coordination area, a fully equipped kitchen providing access for students and staff (with free coffee, tea and the local herbal brew “mate”), a students’ lounge with sofas, library and PC with Internet connection, a wonderful terrace, inviting students to share quiet moments together. Besides, Wi-Fi Internet, a film projector and PC resources are available for classroom use.

SET IDIOMAS is accredited by the Instituto Cervantes as an Associate Center. Our school is one of the two Spanish schools in Argentina bearing this quality seal, assuring the student optimal academic standards, administration, and facilities. We are also members of the Argentine Association of Language Centers (SEA) and, as of 2010, our school is the only Spanish school in Córdoba recommended by LONELY PLANET.

We offer a wide range of Spanish-learning options: group courses, one-on-one courses, combined courses, tailor-made courses, professional development programs for Spanish teachers, international exams preparation (DELE and CELU), and so on. Our courses take a maximum of 6 students per group, which guarantees dynamic classwork and personalized teacher dedication. The student is assigned to a suitable course according to a previous placement test, both written and oral. Study materials are included in our courses fees. At the end of the course, the student receives a certificate issued by SET IDIOMAS as an Associate Center of Instituto Cervantes. All of our courses have been designed for the student to gain progressive proficiency in the communication skills of the Spanish language and its culture.

Our Spanish Area has a highly qualified teaching staff made up of an Academic Coordinator, specifically in charge of aiding and supervising the development of all of the courses, and the actual teachers, all of them native-speaking professionals with university qualifications and many years of experience in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. As a part of the school’s philosophy, SET IDIOMAS promotes ongoing training of our teaching staff. Our highly qualified teachers, our reputation as a prime Spanish school, and this continuous improvement philosophy combine in the everyday experience of our quality classes and service enjoyed by our students.
